We want to tell you about one of our best projects this year Detoxicate your relationships 2022-1-BG01-KA152-YOU-000057646. It gathered 36 young people from Poland, Hungary, North Macedonia, and Bulgaria in the beautiful village of Progled. As an answer to a major problem of our organizations – losing precious members because of toxic relationships, we learned how to harmonize our relationships in the first place with ourselves and then with the people around us with the help of nonviolent communication. We met with experts in psychology, medicine, and law to go deeper into the possible negative consequences of a toxic relationship, the first sign of it, and the phenomenon of domestic violence. That way we didn’t only learn how to avoid toxic relationships in our own lives, but also how to give efficient psychological and legal support to the victims of domestic violence and create a strong intolerance towards it in our societies. Most of us spent the best 9 days in our lives in the amazing nature of our beautiful mountain and the loving small community we’ve built and brought with us home not only the precious experience but very sweet memories!

One of our most successful endeavors for the year was our first training course Fearless speakers 2022-1-BG01-KA153-YOU-000057889, funded by the Erasmus + program. The project gathered 32 youngsters from 7 countries near our beautiful town Smolyan. We learned how to overcome our fear of public speaking and our social anxiety for becoming more confident, in expressing our ideas and positions. The professional team of Родопски драматичен театър „Николай Хайтов” taught us how to overcome our stage fright. We got familiar with the main principles of spontaneous and planned speaking and applied our knowledge during the project by conducting seminars with local students. Each of us keeps a warm memory from the existing 10 days we spent together. Here we share with you the Handbook, where we summarised our knowledge from the project!

We are proud to announce the results of one of our first projects under the Erasmus+ program. Bee in harmony 2021-2-BG01-KA152-000040586 gathered 40 youngsters from Poland, Bulgaria, N. Macedonia, Slovakia, and Portugal near our beautiful town Smolyan who spent 10 days learning how to be successful ambassadors of green causes and how to live a healthy life in harmony with themselves and the Nature. Our cause was preventing the extinction of the honey bees and in order to defend it successfully we first learned about the biology and the importance of those little creatures, what is making them suffer and how can we help them. This project is а sequel of our long-term initiative in which we conduct seminars with young children for educating them to be responsible for preserving the honey bees and the environment in general. With the knowledge, gained from the project, our youngsters created 14 new educational instruments for this initiative and tested them with children from our local schools and a refugee center. We also created brochures and passed through all the stages of an ecological campaign. We visited a biological bee farm and took part in the working process there. That grabbed the interest of many young participants and even some of them started practicing amateur and urban beekeeping after the project. During the whole project, we were following our personal fitness regimes. Each day we started with alternative outdoor exercises for a different muscle group. At the end of the project, we created an educational video for outdoor training without a gym, where we included the experience of all of us from this project.
